Tech Exercise 10: Project Planning Review
My project is titled “The Art of Motherhood.” This narrative depicts a day in the life of my friend Rachel, who juggles her roles as a mother of two boys and a developing potter. The project outline was crafted to encapsulate the essence of motherhood intertwined with the creative process, capturing moments of tenderness and nurturing at home alongside the artistic atmosphere of Rachel’s pottery studio at North Island College.
Key Details:
- Idea Generation: Pivotal scenes – Rachel’s morning rituals with her kids, her arrival at the pottery studio, and intimate moments of pottery-making, painting, and firing.
- Shot List and Storyboard: A shot list and storyboard were drafted, coherent narrative flow from dawn to dusk. Each scene strategically planned to convey the emotional depth of Rachel’s journey.
- Composition and Camera Settings: Careful consideration was given to composition and camera settings, ensuring that each shot captured the essence of the moment while maintaining visual cohesion throughout the narrative.
